Melissa McCarthy to replace Steve Harvey as ‘Little Big Shots’ host
The 62 year old comedian is being replaced by Melissa McCarthy
Steve Harvey remains one of the most renowned hosts of the Miss Universe and has a great sense of humour. Right from handling the Miss Universe slip to keeping the audience in splits, he does it all.
Steve Harvey is also known for his show ‘Steve’ on NBC. But now NBC has cancelled his daytime show. Steve Harvey was also the host of the show ‘Little Big Shots’. He had co-created and produced the show along with Ellen DeGeneres. But now he is being replaced by ‘The Heat’ actress Melissa McCarthy.
Steve Harvey was the fifth highest paid TV hosts. “It’s a real refresh for a brand that has done very well for us,” said Paul Telegdy, co-chair of NBC Entertainment. “Melissa’s just an incredible performer and incredible comedian.”
This amazing comedian-host has won several awards like the Daytime Emmy and the NAACP awards repeatedly.
Sources say that Steve Harvey’s show will be replaced with “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” the “American Idol” alum’s music-infused syndicated talk show that premieres on NBC this fall.
