It’s official! American rapper and songwriter Megan Thee Stallion is all set to release a new remix version of BTS’ song ‘Butter’ this Friday, August 27. Yes, you read that right. The news was confirmed by the boy band’s record label BigHit Music earlier today.
BigHit Music announced the news and wrote: “#BTS #방탄소년단 Butter (feat. Megan Thee Stallion) 2021.08.27. 1PM (KST) | 12AM (ET) #BTS_Butter @theestallion”

Megan took to her social media platforms and share the news and said, “Y’all don’t even understand how excited I am.”
Soon after the collaboration news, BTS ARMY could not keep calm and started sharing reactions to the big news and extended support to the Bangtan boys and Megan.
An official statement released on social networking site Weverse by BTS’ label BIGHIT Music said that the “Butter remix will feature the inimitable rap, signature sounds and ad-libbing of Megan Thee Stallion with the exceptional personality of BTS showcased in the original song to create an even richer experience for all listeners.”
According to Variety, the remix was supposed to release this week on August 27, it also stated that the rapper is facing a ‘block’ from her own record label 1501 Certified Entertainment from releasing the track. However, now a judge has ruled that Megan is clear to release the remix.
