Matt Hardy has not been having the best run on WWE in recent times. At this week’s WWE RAW, Matt Hardy squared up against Rowan. However, he was easily overpowered and suffered another in a string of losses. Due to this latest defeat, Hardy became a worldwide trend on Twitter.

While Matt Hardy reacted to this news by thanking his fans around the world, he also dropped a hint about his future at WWE. His tweets raised the suspicions of many WWE fans as Matt Hardy commented that ‘at this rate there won’t be many more’. Fans believe this to be a hint that Hardy is dissatisfied with his situation in the company.

Fans have supported hardy’s run at the company but his recent booking has been dismal. Hardy is set to renew his contract in March but it doesn’t seem likely he will resign with the company.

In another tweet, Hardy wrote, “I am in a career SLUMP on #RAW. A personal & professional LIMBO. To understand what I’m going through, watch the entire #FreeTheDELETE series (1-7) thus far, uninterrupted, as a new #FTD episode will be released this weekend. I will OVERCOME this.”

This could all very well be a planned gimmick like Randy Orton’s AEW tease. However, for now, it looks like the Broken wrestler might be considering his options. With the string of disgruntled WWE employees joining the AEW, this half of The Hardy Boyz could very well be considering taking his talents to the Cody Rhodes’ avenue.

The Hardy Boyz made their return to WWE at Wrestlemania 33 in a threat ladder match for the Raw Tag Team Championship.
