Master: Thalapathy Vijay starrer to release on Amazon Prime Video on this date

Master featuring Thalapathy Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi after getting a rousing welcome at the box-office is all set to release on OTT platforms. The Tamil action thriller had released in theatres on January 13. The Pongal release soon went on to create a buzz on the box office. Now the makers are planning to release Master on Amazon Prime Video. The movie will have an OTT release on January 29.

Master follows John Durairaj, an alcoholic professor (Vijay) who is sent to a juvenile school. Here he clashes with a gangster named Bhavani (Sethupathi), who uses the children of the school for criminal activities.

Speaking about Master’s release on Amazon Prime Vijay said that he is “glad” that the fans can enjoy the film on Amazon Prime Video in India and across the world. He added that the interesting duel between John and Bhavani will take the audiences on a roller-coaster ride of action, and drama.

Sethupathi too added that it is “extremely fulfilling” to have the film’s global digital release on Amazon. The movie has brought two very strong actors to face to face in the film, with its global digital release on Amazon Prime, it will reach a wider audience and regions.

Master also stars Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, and Arjun Das.
