The grand audio launch event of Master was attended by almost all the crew members and cast including Malavika Mohanan. The leggy lass, which was last seen in Rajinikanth starrer Petta, is playing the female lead opposite Vijay in much-awaited film, Master.
At the audio launch event which took place today at The Leela Palace Hotel in Chennai, Malavika Mohanan was all praises for South superstar Vijay. She said, “Vijay is the humblest co-star I have ever worked with. Throughout the shooting, it didn’t feel like I am working with one of the biggest stars in our country.”

Besides appreciating her co-star Vijay, Mohanan also praised filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj and called him one of the coolest directors she has ever worked with. Following Malavika Mohanan, it was music composer Anirudh Ravichander, who was invited to the stage where he performed to Kutty Story. “I started the album by composing Kutty Story. I will perform this now with the audience as you guys (pointing at the audience) know all the lyrics,” he said.
Stating that Kaththi gave him a break in his career, Anirudh said, “I am joining hands with Vijay after 4-5 years and we hope to have done justice to the album.” At the same occasion, Anirudh also revealed that the album contains 12 songs out of which eight songs have been released today. Two more songs will also be released in the new future.
The filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj has made some revelation about Master. He revealed that he got in touch with Thalapathy Vijay with the help of the executive producer and long time Vijay associate Jagadish.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Master features Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj in the lead roles.
