Massive explosion in Pakistan’s Karachi leaves 3 killed, 15 injured
Pakistan: 3 dead, several injured as explosion rocks building in Karachi’s Gulshan-i-Iqbal area
A massive explosion rocked a building in Gulshan-i-Iqbal area of Karachi, Pakistan on October 21. At least three people were reported dead, while five others were injured after an explosion hit a building opposite the Karachi University Maskan gate in Gulshan-e-Iqbal.

As reported by Dawn, All injured and deceased have been taken to Patel hospital.
The nature of the blast has not yet been ascertained. However, Mubina Town police SHO said that it “seems to be a cylinder blast”. The source further added that a bomb disposal squad is on the way to verify the cause of the blast.

The blast is suspected to have taken place on the second floor of a building. Eyewitnesses who spoke to the local media said that windows of nearby buildings, as well as some vehicles, were damaged after the explosion.
The shocking incident took place a day after five people were injured when a bomb exploded at the entrance of a bus terminal near Sheerin Jinnah Colony.
