Apart from the five-singles Grand Slam, Hingis has also won 13 women’s doubles Grand Slam titles and seven mixed doubles titles.
The 38-year-old Swiss player also holds the record for being the youngest Tennis star to win a Grand Slam title. Making her debut at the hard court in Australia in 1997, Hingis swept three out of four singles titles (US Open, Australia Open, and Wimbledon) also becoming the youngest ever No.1 in the same year.
She retired from the game still ranked the WTA number one in 2017. Hingis had earlier made a comeback twice from retirement in 2002 and 2007 with ligament and hip injuries.
