Maratha Kranti Morcha: Supriya Sule demands resignation of CM Fadnavis
Supriya Sule in the Lok Sabha, spoke about the now-suspended Maratha Kranti Morcha in Maharashtra. Sule, MP from NCP, said, “Maratha and Dhangar were the subjects of reservation in BJP’s manifesto. But after coming to power, Marathas and Dhangars did not get reservation. Because Chief Minister remembers the High Court during elections but not when he is in power”. Supriya Sule also demanded that Chief Minister should resign if the Chief Minister, who is also responsible for the responsibility of destroying the law and order in Maharashtra, is not responsible for it.
Maratha Kranti Morcha turned violent after the death of Kakasaheb Shinde in Aurangabad today called for a shutdown in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane for the demand for reservation. Maratha Morcha coordinators appealed to not be violent during bandh. The Maratha marches have not been allowed to go on the streets even though the coordinators are implied that the bandh will not have any impact on public transport.
Earlier, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar also said that due to the demands of the Maratha youth who have demanded the demands of the Maratha youth, including the reservation, the state has not taken proper notice. The Chief Minister and his ministers have been accused of making false statements in this regard. On the current status of the Maratha agitation, Pawar made a demand for Maratha representation in his statement.Several places of Mumbai such as Mankhurd, Govandi saw protests turn violent with protestors torching buses and other vehicles.
