Prime Minister Narendra Modi will communicate with 1.3 billion people on Sunday though his brainchild “Mann Ki Baat”. It will the 46th episode of programme which started in 2014, after the Bharatiya Janata Party came to power at the Centre. In the latest episode, Modi might start his conversation by congratulating Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader Imran Khan who secured a majority in the recent elections.
It is also expected that Modi would share his experiences of his recent visit to Rwanda, Uganda and South Africa. The premier might speak on the recent mob lynching cases and increasing rapes of minors. As Modi is known for his involvement at digital platform, he might speak about his recent interaction with farmers and women, through video conferencing. He might congratulate Hima Das for her achievement in sports.
In the previous session of Mann Ki Baat, Modi had spoken about International Yoga Day, recalled the horrific Jallianwala Bagh incident and referred doctors as friends. He also said that GST will be one biggest tax reform in the world and remembered Guru Nanak Dev and Dr Syama Prasad Mukherjee. Ending his speech, Modi said that sports are great mediums for the integration of society and also Modi praised to the great saint Kabir Das.
