Mann Ki Baat: 45th edition, PM Modi to celebrate one year of GST
Previously, in the last edition of Mann Ki Baat, PM Modi spoke on a number of issues including health, monsoon and culture. He started addressing with a mention of Naavika Saagar Parikrama, where a crew of six women officers circumnavigated the globe for over more than 250 days on board the INSV Tarini, returning home on the 21st of May. PM Modi also gave an answer to Virat Kohli’s fitness challenge.
He concluded saying “I hope and believe that everyone will celebrate Eid with gaiety and fervor and on this occasion children will specially get a grand ‘Eidi’.”

10.55 AM IST: Greeting yoga enthusiasts across the world, PM Modi said that yoga has become the biggest mass movement and it has shown the world the path from illness to wellness. “Instead of increasing suffering, Yoga heals”. He also mentioned about various Yoga sessions took place worldwide in celebration of fourth International Yoga Day.

10.54 AM IST: Wishing all the doctors for 1st July Doctor’s Day, PM said that “Doctors not only treat people but they are also often lifestyle guide…..they not only cure they also heal”.
11.00 AM IST: The prime minister commented that we are lucky to be born in this country as there is not a single month which goes with having at least one historic event.

11.25 AM IST: He concluded the session saying “We are proud that people with different ideologies sit together and discuss with consensus.” Also he mentioned that before GST there were seventeen different taxes in India and is one of the World’s biggest tax reform.
In various episodes of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister has tried to communicate the citizens of country but in today’s 45th edition it was expected that he might talk about more important events which was witnessed low on point.
