Malayalam actor Prabeesh Chakkalakkal died on the sets of a film in Kerala’s Kochi. The 44-year-old actor also worked as a popular dubbing artiste. He was shooting for the YouTube channel Cochin College when he suddenly collapsed on the sets. Prabeesh was declared dead when brought to a hospital in Kochi.
As reported by sources to Malayalam portal Samakalika Malayalam, Prabeesh was shooting for a film about waste management in Kerala. The actor finished his work on the set, clicked a group photo, and fell on the floor.
The report further mentioned the coworkers alleging that the actor’s colleagues tried to take him to a hospital but could not arrange for a vehicle in time. By the time they could reach a hospital, Prabeesh breathed his last.
Prabeesh Chakkalakkal acted in several telefilms and worked as a dubbing artiste in many movies, including Abrid Shine’s The Kung Fu Master, which was his last film. He also held employment with JSW Cements Limited.
Prabeesh is survived by his wife Jansy, daughter Taniya, and father Joseph. He was buried at the Maradu Moothedam church today.
