Mahesh Babu’s film with Maharshi director Vamsi Paidipally shelved?

South superstar Mahesh Babu and Vamsi Paidipally had joined hands for the first time in Maharshi. The movie went on to break records at the box-office. Soon reports of the actor and the director joining hands once again went viral. Rumours of Mahesh Babu doing a Vamsi film after the success of his last film ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ were trending on social media.

But in a shocking turn of events, reports of Mahesh Babu shelving the project hit headlines.

As reported by a source to India Today, Mahesh Babu didn’t like Vamsi’s bound script which is touted to be a gangster flick. He did not like the way his characterization has turned out. Hence, the actor has asked the Oopiri director to rework on the script and tweak it to make it interesting. So, he has put his project on hold.

Rumours abound that Mahesh Babu has expressed his interest in director Parasuram’s script. It looks like Mahesh Babu has chosen to work with the Geetha Govindam filmmaker. Rumours abound that Mahesh Babu has been approached by  Koratala Siva to play a key role in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film. . Mahesh Babu’s character is very powerful and that is the reason why he has reportedly given instant nod.

At present, the actor is on a break with his family. Mahesh Babu is presently on a trip to New York with wife Namrata Shirodkar and kids Gautam and Sitara.
