SS Rajamouli is known for making extravaganza films and his last few releases broke records at the box-office. His upcoming film, RRR features Ram Charan, Jr. NTR and Alia Bhatt in the key roles and the star cast are apparently shooting for the last leg. According to the latest reports the filmmaker will next collaborate with superstar, Mahesh Babu. This film is said to be based on Jungle theme.
According to a latest report by Pinkvilla, much excited collaboration between Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli is all set to commence and the script is written by Rajamouli’s father KV Vijayendra Prasad. A source close to the development informed the portal that after directing back-to-back period dramas, Rajamouli and his father are teaming up for a jungle-based adventure film. The plot is set in the backdrop of African forest and the makers are planning to make it a visual treat for audience.
The source while talking about the film informed, “While the story will be set in a world of forests, it will be packed with lot of action, thrills and drama. Even Mahesh is excited to foray into this high on VFX film”.
Further KV Vijayendra Prasad also confirmed the news to the same portal and said, “It’s too early to talk about it right now, but yes, I am trying to explore the African Forest Adventure space (for Mahesh Babu film). It’s not yet finalized, but I am trying to crack this space at the moment. The timelines of shoot are not fixed as of now, but the film is happening next.”
