Days after we reported that Mahesh Babu will have a cameo appearance in Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film Acharya, we have got our hands on a report claiming that makers of the film have finally dropped the idea of having Mahesh Babu on board for the film. There were also reports doing rounds on social media that Mahesh Babu is demanding a whopping Rs 1 crore per day as his remuneration.
As per the previous reports, director of the film Koratala Siva met with Maharshi actor and narrated the story of Chiranjeevi’s movie and asked him to play a key role and he had reportedly given his nod. It was reported that the makers will announce the same on the occasion of Holi but nothing of the sort happened.

And now as per a report in greatandhra.com, Ram Charan is the one who is finally doing the extended cameo in Acharya. While Koratala Siva was happy to get Mahesh Babu onboard but Chiranjeevi wasn’t too happy with his casting.
It is to be noted that Mahesh Babu and Koratala Siva share a very good bond and they have previously worked together in ‘Srimanthudu’ and ‘Bharat Ane Neu’.
The reports of Mahesh Babu not having a special appearance in Chiranjeevi’s Acharya came days after South Actress Trisha walked out of the project.
Taking to Twitter, Trisha informed her fans that she has walked out of Chiranjeevi’s upcoming film over creative differences with the makers.
In her tweet, Trisha said that she’s realised certain factors seemed “different” than what was “discussed” with her earlier.
“Sometimes things turn out to be different from what was initially said and discussed. Due to creative differences, I have chosen not to be part of Chiranjeevi sir’s film,” she wrote in her tweet.
Acharya is being produced by Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainments while the film’s music will be composed by Mani Sharma.
