Days after a report of Mahesh Babu giving his nod to be a part of Chiranjeevi’s next, yet another report has surfaced on the internet suggesting that Mahesh Babu is charging whopping Rs 1 crore per day as his remuneration.
According to a report published on Deccan Chronicle, Mahesh Babu will hot have to shoot for 30 days for the film, which tentatively titled Acharya. As per the reports, Mahesh Babu will take home Rs 30 crore for being a part of Chiranjeevi’s next. Here’s why Mahesh Babu does not want to do social message-oriented movies
In Acharya, Mahesh play will a radical student leader who fights against corruption in the film. He will have over half-an-hour of screen presence. In some of the scenes, he will be seen along with Chiranjeevi.

“Mahesh actually started the multi-starrer trend among the new generation with Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, and now he is starting another trend by accepting this Chiranjeevi’s film,” the report stated.
As per the latest buzz, Ram Charan is considering to bring Pooja Hegde on board to play Mahesh Babu’s love interest in the film. The film is being bankrolled by Konidela Productions and Matinee Entertainment’s joint production.
There have been several reports that Mahesh Babu and Vamsi Paidipally will collaborate for the second time after Maharshi for the yet-untitled flick.
Post the success of his previous film, Sarileru Neekevvaru, Mahesh Babu is on a break from work. It was reported that he will do Vamsi’s film when he comes back. If the latest reports are to believed, Mahesh Babu has put the project on hold for unknown reasons.
According to reports, Mahesh Babu didn’t like Vamsi’s bound script which is said to be a gangster movie. He did not like the way his characterisation has turned out. Hence, the actor has asked Vamsi to rework on the script and tweak it to make it interesting. So, he has put his project on hold.
