Mahek Chahal finally broke her silence and revealed why she broke off her engagement with Ashmit Patel
Mahek Chahal is all set to appear on the eleventh season of stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi. Currently, she has jetted off to Cape Town for the shooting of KKK11. Now, in an interview, the actress who was engaged to Ameesha Patel’s brother Ashmit in 2017 revealed the reason why she broke it off last year after being in a relationship for five long years.

Speaking to the Times Of India, Mahek Chahal said that she does not blame Ashmit Patel for their split as she chose to walk off. She revealed that when a person starts living together and spending more time with their partner they get to know the real him/her. She said that Ashmit was the right person for her.
Sharing her post-breakup experience, Mahek said that her friends and family stood by her. She said that she was in Goa for a year and due to the lockdown, she would travel to Mumbai only required. She said that she spent a lot of time with nature in Goa and nature had an influence on her.
Mahek said that if it was not for the breakup, she would not have gone to Goa then. She felt very relaxed when she was in nature as she was getting a lot of anxiety staying in the same apartment.
Talking about Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, she said that she wants to win it. Now, she sees herself as a changed person, and, is also looking forward to making some good friends in the show.
