Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde starrer Maharshi released on May 9 and it opened with good numbers on Day 1 in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The movie is showing no signs of slowing down at the box office. It collected Rs 6.38 crore in Hyderabad on its first day. The first-weekend collections are out and it has made a worldwide gross collection of Rs 100 crore.

Maharshi is Mahesh’s 25th feature film and it opened with 90 percent occupancy on its first Monday.
It gives out a strong social message and audiences are mighty impressed with Mahesh Babu’s promising performance that has emotions and drama. He played a college student and a high profile businessman in the US. He is in a double role with impactful dialogues.
Produced by Dil Raju, C Ashwini Dutt, and Prasad V Potluri, the action-drama is helmed by Vamsi Paidipally who has also written the script and dialogues for the film.
