Maharashtra Lockdown: Mumbai Locals might be resumed for fully vaccinated people

Maharashtra is still following strict restrictions because of the pandemic Coronavirus outspread. Mumbai local services are shut for common travellers, while people from the essential services category are allowed to travel. According to the latest reports, the train services might be soon available for people who are fully vaccinated. There is no official announcement as yet, however, the it is believed that the ministers might take decision in 2-3 days. Currently the discussions are being carried out in the cabinet.

On Wednesday i.e July 28, Hindustan Times quoted the guardian minister, “As a minister, I am also of the view that person whose two doses are completed should be allowed to travel in Mumbai local, we have also informed Chief Minister about this. After studying the report by the task force, a decision on Mumbai local will be taken in next two to three days.”

Earlier the Maharashtra government stated about planning to remove the restrictions as per strategic planning, however, the health officials alerted the nation about an expected third wave. The Maharashtra government is yet to ease the Covid-19 curbs from different categories. The daily record of COVID-19 virus has shown a remarkable decline off late, however, there are still fears of delta plus variant.
