Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aaditya Tests COVID-19 positive

Over the last few weeks Maharashtra has emerged as one of the top contributor in the new Coronavirus wave. On Friday Mumbai alone recorded 3,000-plus fresh cases. Several renowned celebs have confirmed about testing positive on social media recently. Now Maharashtra Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray’s son, Aaditya has tested positive for the COVID-19. Shiv Sena shared the update on his official Twitter handle today.
After learning about being COVID-19 positive, Aaditya Thackeray urged people who met him in recent times to get tested for the same. He posted that he has mild Covid-19 symptoms. “On having mild symptoms of COVID, I had myself tested and I am COVID positive. I request everyone who came in contact with me to get themselves tested. I urge everyone to realise that it is extremely important to not let your guard down. Please follow COVID protocols & stay safe,” read his cryptic post.

For the unversed earlier this month the Maharashtra state government had urged netizens to follow COVID-9 guidelines after the outspread sees a sudden surge. On Friday, India has recorded its biggest single-day surge in the span of last 4 months with around 40,953 fresh cases. On the other side Maharashtra reported around 25,681 fresh cases which makes it contribute with over 60 per cent in overall India’s Coronavirus tally.
