The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education (MSBSHE) has announced the results of the Maharashtra SSC or class 10 board examination. The results were announced at 11 am but students can now access the scoreboard from 1 pm. The results will be available at mahresult.nic.in, sscresult.mkcl.org and maharashtraeducation.com.
Maharashtra SSC 10th Result 2020: How to check
Step 1. Visit the official website- mahresult.nic.in.
Step 2. On the homepage, click on the link-‘Maharashtra SSC Result 2020 declared’.
Step 3. On the newly opened page, enter the necessary credentials like roll number, application number etc.
Step 4. Click on submit.
Step 5. The results will be displayed on the screen.
Step 6. Download and take a print out of the results.
Students can also check their results by using SMS. Type an SMS in the specified format: MH and send it to 57766. Your result will be received on the same number.
The pass percentage of candidates who appeared for the examinations is 95.30 percent, highest in ten years. In terms of districts, Konkan topped the list with 98.77%. Girls have outperformed boys with 96.91 percent clearing the exams, and boys scored 93.90%.
The board had scheduled the MSBSHE SSC examinations to be held from March 3 to March 23. But due to the coronavirus lockdown, the state decided to cancel the geography paper. The marks for that subject were calculated as per the average of other subjects.
For revaluation of marks, students have to make applications between July 30 to August 8. To obtain photocopies of answer sheets, students can apply from July 30 to August 18.
