Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has released the guidelines for Maharashtra SSC, HSC Board Exams 2021 As per the guidelines issued by the education minister. The exams would be conducted in the same school for the students. Also, the practical examinations for Class 10, SSC students have been cancelled.
Instead of practicals, students can submit written assignments to their respective schools between May 21 and June 10. Class 10, and class 12 humanities and commerce students can submit assignments. But the class 12 science students can appear for practicals from their respective colleges.
Here is the complete list of instructions issued by the education department:
- Examinations would be conducted in offline mode for both Class 10 and 12
- No online exams to be conducted
- Board exams would be conducted in the same schools that the students are enrolled.
- In case of not adequate seating, nearby centres will be allotted, informed Gaikwad.
- Practical exams for Class 10 would not be conducted this year.
- Class 12, the practicals would include limited experiments
- Half an hour extra to be given to students to write,
- Differently-abled to get one entire extra hour.
- Thermal screening to be done at all exam centers for students.
- If students have Covid or are in containment zones during exam dates, they can give a special exam in June.
- Board has also decided to vaccinate staff and those on exam duties before the exams.
Maharashtra SSC Board Exams 2021 would begin on April 29, 2021, and end on May 20.
Maharashtra HSC or Class 12 Board Exams 2021, on the other hand, are scheduled to be conducted between April 23 and May 21.
