Top Congress and JD(S) leaders met in Bengaluru on Sunday to discuss the issues ahead of the new Budget in Karnataka. Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy, Congress leader Siddaramaiah and deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara were among those present at the coordination committee meeting. Siddaramaiah had recently created a ripple in the coalition government by opposing the new Budget by Kumaraswamy. Soon after the meeting, JD(S) leader Danish Ali said, “Farm loan waiver has been accepted by the committee. The details will be revealed when the Budget will be presented.” He further said, “10 lakh houses will be built in the next five years. New sports policies will be framed. Major focus will be on skill development to create new jobs.”
