With the vast majority of world population in a lockdown, old TV shows are making a comeback. Since there are no new episodes of current shows coming in, people are indulging in a touch of nostalgia. Shows like Ramayan and Mahabharata are making a comeback, ready to be introduced to a whole new generation. However, people seem to have become a lot more observant during the time-lapse. Some Twitter users recently pointed out a GoT coffee mug type incident in a scene of the Mahabharata.
Since Mahabharat is a mythological epic there was no electricity just like there was no Starbucks at the time of GoT. However, just like a Starbucks coffee cup found its way into a scene of GoT, a cooler found its way into a scene of the Mahabharata.
This mistake was recently spotted by some beady-eyed Twitter users. Twitter user Harsh pointed out, “Coolers were invented in 1951, Lo Bhishma pitamah – apun hich bhagwan hai.”
Another Twitter user stated, “Bhishma pitamaha Cooler ki hawa lete hue Us samay bhi humare paas cooler hua krte the.”
However, other Twitter users pointed out that it wasn’t a cooler behind Bhisma Pitamaha but just a pattern in the pillar. They argued that the pillar design could be seen in other scenes from the episode. Twitter user Yog Mishra pointed out, “That was the design of the pillar and not cooler.” Ujjwal Bhalla also reinforced the point. He wrote, “Its not Cooler bro . Its a design in pillar.”
What do you think about this? Is that a cooler or just a pattern in the pillar?
