The voting for Mizoram and Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections have already begun. People from all walks of life approaching poll booths to exercise their votes in both the states.

Taking to Twitter Rahul Gandhi wrote: “My appeal to the voters of Mizoram: Your vote is not just your constitutional right, it is a blessing & a weapon. Use it wisely today! Vote for peace, prosperity and progress. My best wishes and warmest regards to all my brothers & sisters in Mizoram.”

Amid tight security arrangements, there are several octogenarian women, who are reported to have exercised their vote in the states.

In Madhya Pradesh, a 101-year-old woman visited the poll booth in Agar Malwa district.
