Lucifer is one of the most loved series on Netflix. Lucifer’s fourth season came to an emotional end, and fans have been eagerly waiting for the new season. The supernatural drama Lucifer was renewed for a fifth season that was originally planned to be the last. But the good news for fans is that it has also been renewed for a sixth season as well. The makers confirmed that the series will come back with a sixth and final season with Tom Ellis in the titular role.
The supernatural detective series revolves around Lucifer Morningstar, the Lord of Hell. He relocates to Los Angeles after he is bored of being the devil. Lucifer helps Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) in solving homicide cases.

Cast:
The show will reprise its cast. Tom Ellis will be back as Lucifer Morningstar & Michael, Lauren German as Detective Chloe Decker. Dennis Haysbert will be seen as Almighty. Kevin Alejandro as Detective Dan Espinoza, with Rachael Harris as Dr. Linda Martin, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez, Inbar Lavi as both Eve and Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen.
Story:
Lucifer Season 4 ended, with Lucifer returning to rule Hell. In the new season, we will have him back on earth when he sees Chloe in danger. But Chloe feels he has changed since he has come back. Mazikeen confronts Lucifer and finds that he is not Lucifer but his twin brother Michael.
Michael has some evil plans, it is revealed when he says, “I am not gonna break Lucifer’s life, I am gonna take it.”
Release Date:
Lucifer Season five will be out in two parts. Part 1 will release in August and the second part will be released later. The first part of season five will release on Friday 21st August. There is no confirmed date of the second part as yet. For due to COVID-19 Pandemic the shoot was halted.
