Low-Intensity Earthquake Tremors Felt In Rohtak

After Maharashtra, low-intensity earthquake were felt in Rohtak(Haryana) on Wednesday i.e June 24. The magnitude of 2.8 hit the place as reported by the National Centre for Seismology. Apparently, there were no immediate reports of any loss of life or damage of property, due to the earthquake.

Earlier in this month, June 19, an earthquake of magnitude 2.3 had hit several parts of Haryana during the evening hours. Delhi region has recorded low to medium intensity earthquakes around 18 times in last one month, out of which 8 have taken place in Rohtak. This time around, quake occurred at 12:58 pm at a depth of 5 km said the NCS. 

Netizens took to their Twitter handles and shared the details about feeling the earthquake in Rohtak today.

Not just that, during the pandemic Coronavirus lockdown several other regions have also reported to have hit with the medium-low intensity earthquakes. Starting from Delhi to Gujarat, Odisha, Maharashtra and few other regions.
