Not Jimin or V, Lovelyz’s Seo Jisoo was inspired by THIS BTS member
South Korean girl group Lovelyz's Jisoo aka Seo Ji-soo shared in an interview on how BTS's Suga has been her role model.
South Korean girl group Lovelyz’s Jisoo aka Seo Ji was recently featured in fashion magazine International bent. While talking to the magazine, Jisoo revealed how BTS member Suga has been her inspiration.
Lovelyz’s Jisoo was quoted as saying, “I often think about BTS’ Suga’s words, when he said, ‘Rather than being the second version [of BTS], I hope that someone will come along who is the best version of themselves.’ Just like that, I want to strike out on my own path.”

Further, she also spoke about her lockdown routine and said, “My goal is to make my body more beautiful through Pilates and weight training at home,” she said. When asked about the recently announced Universe animation ‘Silvia Part Season 3’ OST ‘Promise,’ she said, “I’ve enjoyed watching animations since I was a kid.”

The singer also spoke about Lovelyz’s first music show win in 2017 and said, “The fans in front of us were the first to cry. Rather than something we achieved, we think of it as something the fans achieved. That’s what made it more emotional.”
Lovelyz has not delivered an album since the EP “Once Upon a Time” with the lead single “Beautiful Days” in 2019.
The same year, they competed on the television show “Queendom” that aired on Mnet. Jisoo said, “The members talk often among themselves about what concept to try next time. Because we’re approaching our sixth year as a group, we have a lot of thoughts about the future.”

Speaking about her role as the main dancer in Lovelyz, Jisoo said, “To be honest, I was wrongly described as the main dancer,” explaining that she was probably mixed up with her fellow member Jung Ye In. She then joked, “Of course, I’m in charge of the visuals. I think that’s a strong point I have.”
