Love Triangle: Woman kills husband while being in love with her cousin
Initial details have surfaced about an alleged love affair between a woman and her cousin who hatched a plan and murdered the woman’s husband. The police have arrested the 23-year-old woman who with the help of her love interest killed her husband brutally on account of him ill-treating her.
The body of the husband identified as Santosh Janu Chauhan was found on Renuka Mata temple road on the outskirts of the city of Aurangabad on Monday, said police commissioner Chiranjeev Prasad.
The police probed Chauhan’s wife Jyoti who confessed to allegedly killed him with the help of her cousin Dharma Pratap Jadhav, with whom she was involved in an illegitimate relationship and claimed she was fed up with her husband’s drinking habit and daily harassment.
The commissioner said that both the accused, Jyoti and Dharma had been arrested, adding that further probe was on.
Aurangabad recently hit the headlines for hideous crimes when a 38-year-old self-styled godman for allegedly forcing several male devotees into unnatural sex for over a decade was arrested by the Maharashtra police. This came to light after audio and video clips of the assaults went viral on social media with the accused, Asif Noori, sexually abusing men.
In another bizzare incident, a woman in Bihar got married to a man for four days and allegedly slit his throat and killed him and confessed to the police that she committed the crime while having a strong bout of a headache. The 23-year-old woman identified as Sinki Devi used a sharp-edged sickle while perpetrating the crime on husband, Ravindra Singh, 30, cut him at several spots on his body before slitting his throat, police said.
