Liverpool’s players belted out a rendition of the club’s anthem “You’ll Never Walk Alone” along with manager Juergen Klopp and his staff.
Sadly fans could not be a part of the momentous night at Anfield Stadium. This was due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Police had issued a 48-hour dispersal order to stop fans gathering in large numbers across the city. But many did gather outside to celebrate the occasion by letting off flares and fireworks.
