Live Update on Ghatkopar Plane Crash: CCTV Footage acquired
The four occupants of the chartered plane who died in the crash have been identified: 1. Captain Pradeep Rajput (pilot); 2. Captain Maria Zuberi (pilot); 3. Surbhi Gupta (Engineer); 4. Manish Pande (technician).
A fire brigade official was quoted as saying, “Our control room got a call at 1.15 pm informing about the plane crash. Our jawans were immediately rushed to the site to launch the rescue operation. Four fire engines and as many water tankers were rushed to douse the fire that occurred after the plane crashed.”- Police, fire brigade and disaster management teams are at the spot to conduct rescue and relief operations. Bodies of those killed in the plane crash have been sent to the nearby Rajawadi hospital in Ghatkopar.

A live footage video has been acquired from the nearby CCTV’s in one of the residential apartments as the chartered plane crashed in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. As per DGCA sources, the plane was an Uttar Pradesh Govt aircraft VT-UPZ, KING AIR C90 and it crashed near Sarvoday Nagar, Ghatkopar, Mumbai.
