Renowned YouTuber, Lilly Singh made heads turn at the Grammys red carpet. She highlighted the Indian farmer’s protest on the red carpet of the Grammy Awards ceremony. She was seen carrying the face mask with a message in the highlight that she supports the farmers. This social media influencer was born and raised in the Scarborough district of Toronto, Ontario and parents Malwinder Kaur and Sukhwinder Singh have immigrated from Hoshiarpur, India.
Lilly Singh took to her official Twitter handle and shared a picture of herself from the red carpet event. For the awards show, she carried a black jacket alongside a matching bodycon shirt, which she paired with a silver chain and hoop earrings. With a message on her face mask, she highlighted to the media that she supports the farmers. For the unversed, celebs such as Rihanna, Greta Thunberg and few others had earlier lent their supports to the farmer’s protest. The farmers have been protesting against three agricultural laws introduced by the center last year. Even after the farmers and government officials had 10 rounds of talks, both sides couldn’t reach the settlement point.
