Akshay Kumar is currently flying high on the success of recently released film Mission Mangal. The film witnessed a grand opening and earned Rs 29.16 crore on the first day. The actor who believes in multitasking is currently busy promoting his film Mission Mangal as well as shooting for the next movie, Laxmmi Bomb. The film marks Bollywood debut for director Raghava Lawrence. Notably, Laxmmi Bomb is a remake of famous Tamil horror comedy Kanchana.
Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani were spotted taking a ride on the Madh Jetty with the team. The makers are shooting for the second schedule of Laxmmi Bomb. Akshay Kumar was dressed casually in a black outfit layered with a jacket. He was listening to music and was enjoying the ride.
Kiara Advani was papped as she flashed a smile for the cameras. She was spotted leaving the jetty in a denim jacket and cargo pants and was flanked by her security personnel.
It has also been revealed that Jab We Met actor Tarun Arora, who played Anshuman in the Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor starrer, will play the role of villain. A source had told Mumbai Mirror, “Like in the original, the Hindi villain is also a corrupt MLA, and Raghava, who has worked with Tarun in Kanchana 3, which released in April this year, believes that he is apt for the part. His new avatar is very different from his Jab We Met character. The formalities are currently underway.”
The movie is scheduled to release on 5th June 2020. Kiara Advani who was last seen in Kabir Singh beside Shahid Kapoor has several movies in her kitty. She is also going to work for a Netflix series, “Guilty” produced by Karan Johar.
