The Ganesh Idol is kept for 11 days. According to reports, more than 1.5 million people visit Lal Bagcha Raja every day during the 10-day Ganpati festival. For the unversed, Lalbaughcha Raja will be immersed in the Arabian sea at Girgaum Chowpatty on the auspicious day of Anant Chaturdashi. This year, it will be immersed on 12th September 2019. The first look of the Ganpati showcases a dynamic backdrop featuring video clips of ISRO’s Chandrayaan launch and the solar system. Standing at a height of 20 feet, Lalbaughcha Raja was first installed in the year 1934 and it has completed its 85-years.
