Lady Gaga Praises BLACKPINK After Collaborating On Sour Candy
Sour Candy: Lady Gaga talks about the positive experience she had working with BLACKPINK
Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande set the town on fire, with a video of their collaboration called Rain On Me. The viral song is a part of Gaga’s highly-awaited sixth studio album, ‘Chromatica’. After the foot-tapping sizzling number, Lady Gaga is all set to unveil ‘Sour Candy’ a collaboration with the popular girl group, BLACKPINK.
In an interview with a Japanese publication, TV Groove Lady Gaga has spoken about the positive experience she had working with BLACKPINK.
Gaga shared, “When I called out to them and asked if they wanted to sing a song with me, they were very happy and motivated. It was a really exciting collaboration. I wanted to celebrate them because I love powerful women like them and they also wanted to celebrate me.”

She added, “I had a great time together making this song. I was excited to hear them interpret the song in Korean and told them that the part was so creative and fun. I was amazed to hear their singing voice. They are beautiful young women, really talented and I am proud to be the fifth member of BLACKPINK [for Sour Candy].”
BLACKPINK entered the U.S. market in 2018, and they landed on Billboard’s Hot 100 with their collaboration with Dua Lipa for “Kiss and Make Up.”
