Sushant Singh Rajput passed away last year on June 14 and his sudden demise came as a shock to many. Now, his co-star Kriti Sanon, who was rumored to be dating him has finally broken her silence on his demise. She also revealed why she chose to remain silent on his death.
In an interview with the Times Of India, the ‘Heropanti’ actress said that there was a lot of negativity. She said that she didn’t want to be a part of that negativity and she knew what she felt about SSR’s demise and wanted to keep that to herself.
The actress said that she did not feel the need to talk to anyone about anything that she was feeling at that point. She said that one can always say what they want on social media and can also write it down and express themselves instead of talking out loud.
After SSR’s demise, Kriti had posted an emotional note on Instagram, along with a picture of them from their film, ‘Raabta.’ Kriti was also among the stars from Bollywood who attended the last rites of Sushant.
On the work front, Kriti will be next seen in Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush’, co-starring Prabhas, Sunny Singh, and Saif Ali Khan. Next in Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy film, ‘Bhediya’ alongside Varun Dhawan, and Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Bachchan Pandey’ opposite Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi.
