Krishna Raj Kapoor prayer meet: Celebrities pay their last tribute

Krishna Raj Kapoor, wife of legendry film maker, director and actor Raj Kapoor, breathed her last in the wee hours of Monday morning, She was 87-years-old. Her departure has left the Kapoor family devastated. Many actors took to Twitter to pay their condolences to the grief stricken family.

Raveena Tandon wrote, “Condolences to the entire Kapoor family. An era passes away,#KrishnaRajKapoor. God give you strength,and may the soul rest in peace. Om Shanti. @chintskap”

Anupam Kher addressed her as one of the most dignified women in a heartfelt tweet. “Deeply saddened to learn about the sad demise of Smt. #KrishnaRajKapoorJi. She was one of the most dignified and affectionate ladies that I met. May her soul rest in peace. My condolences to the entire Kapoor and Nanda family. Om Shanti.”

Bollywood fraternity came out in numbers at her funeral to pay their last respects to the departed soul.

On the day of the funeral, Kareena Kapoor Khan was fighting back tears. This loss is irreplacable by the Kapoor family.
