Congratulations are in order for Kishwer Merchant and Suyyash Rai as they embrace parenthood and welcome their first baby, a boy. The announcement was made by the couple on social media. They also shared the first picture of their newborn baby.
Sharing the picture, the couple wrote: “27.08.21 ❤️ welcome BABY RAI!!! It’s a boy👦🏼 #sukishkababy” The baby’s name is yet to be revealed.

The actress has been treating her fans with lovely pictures and flaunting her baby bump. In her YouTube video, she revealed that it wasn’t a planned pregnancy and came as a surprise to them. Suyyash said that the news of her pregnancy was ‘more like a shock’ when he first found out and the duo did not know how to react when the test came positive. Embracing motherhood at the age of 40-years-old, she said, “Being a mother at 40 is cool and age is just a number.”
In 2010, Kishwer Merchant started dating co-actor Suyyash Rai. They got married on 16 December 2016. The two had met on the sets of their show ‘Pyaar Ki Ek Kahaani.’ On 2 March 2021, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child in August.
