Khaali Peeli: Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter starrer to release on this day

Ananya Panday and Ishaan Khatter are coming together for a laugh riot ‘Khaali Peeli’. Recently the makers unveiled the teaser of the upcoming release. It raised the anticipation of fans to a new high. The movie was scheduled for a theatrical release as soon as the theatres opened up. But looking at the current status there are rumours that the makers are opting for an OTT release on Gandhi Jayanti.

As reported by sources to Pinkvilla, “The banner has locked Gandhi Jayanti (October 2) as the release date for Khaali Peeli. Zee Studios will stream it only on its homegrown platform exclusively.”

There is a little patchwork to be yet done which will be wrapped up in a day or two.

Sources added, “The entire team has figured out a plan to finish it all up. They need to shoot for a day or two at the max to wrap it completely. Ananya and Ishaan will film those scenes in a controlled set up in the coming few days, mostly in the first week of September. The shoot will be concluded in Mumbai following all safety guidelines.”

Khaali Peeli has been co-produced by Ali Abbas Zafar, Zee Studios, and Himanshu Mehra. The film also features actor Jaideep Ahlawat in a pivotal role.
