KGF: Chapter 2 First Look Poster Out: Makers drop Yash’s first look from kGF 2

The makers of KGF Chapter 2 have finally dropped the first look poster of the film today (21 December 2019). Ever since KGF Chapter 1 released in 2018, millions of people have been desperately waiting for its Chapter 2. The film which featured Yash, Srinidhi Shetty and Malavika Avinash received critical acclaim for its making and won several awards and accolades.

Celebrating the first year anniversary of KGF Chapter 1, the makers have revealed KGF: Chapter 2 first look on Twitter. It is to be noted that the first part of KGF released worldwide on December 21, 2018.

As soon as KGF Chapter 2’s first look was out, fans went crazy and made #KGFChapter2FirstLook top trending hashtag on Twitter.

The announcement of the first of KGF Chapter 2 was made almost a week ago. Speaking about the same, director Prashanth Neel took to Twitter and wrote, “Perfect time for celebrations!!!! We are absolutely elated to unveil the #KGFChapter2 First Look on Dec 21st. (sic)”

In the poster, Yash can be seen donning a bell bottom paint and erecting a pillar with the help of mineworkers. The poster has a caption which reads, “Rebuilding an empire”. It may be recalled that the first part ended with Yash’s Rocky taking down Garuda to become the leader of KGF.

In the second part, Sanjay Dutt will be playing the mysterious Adheera. According to rumours,  Raveena Tandom will be playing the Prime Minister’s role, modelled after the Ex-PM Indira Gandhi.

Casting Sanjay Dutt in KGF Chapter 2, in an earlier interview to Cinema Express, Yash revealed, “When director Prashanth Neel narrated the character of Adheera, he had himself mentioned that this role needs somebody like Sanjay Dutt. He was there in our mind right from the initial stages, and not after we ventured into five languages. Nor it did emerge after KGF became a huge success.”

Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film has music by Ravi Basrur and cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda. The film is expected to hit the screens in Summer, next year.
