Keri Hilson Under Fire For Saying 5G Caused Coronavirus
“People have been trying to warn us about 5G for YEARS."
American singer songwriter Keri Hilson has come under fire for stating that 5G is the reason behind coronavirus. While the cause of the outbreak is still unknown, experts state that the virus may be linked to animals. It originated in the city of Wuhan in China which is known for its large wildlife market. Some theories believe that bats could be the cause behind the outbreak.
However, Keri Hilson has her own coronavirus theory. She believes that the 5G technology is the cause behind the rampant outbreak. “People have been trying to warn us about 5G for YEARS. Petitions, organisations, studies… what we’re going thru is the affects of radiation,” she told her 4.2 million Twitter followers. “5G launched in CHINA. Nov 1, 2019. People dropped dead. See attached & go to my IG stories for more. TURN OFF 5G by disabling LTE!!!”
Keri Hilson went on to support her theory by stating that the Coronavirus epidemic had not hit Africa as the continent does not have 5G. In addition, she also advised her followers to switch off their phones while sleeping.
However, Keri has come under fire for her statements with many labelling her “irresponsible” for causing misinformation. Others called her out for misguiding her massive social media following.
Keri Hilson has since deleted her tweets regarding coronavirus. She has instead posted a statement. The singer wrote, “Management has asked me to delete vid/articles. I appreciate good discourse on unconventional thinking. Let’s all just be safe out there, cuz whatever the cause the virus a real thing. May God be with us…prayers to alllllll”
