English Premier League club Liverpool FC have lived up to their famous slogan, “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” by expressing solidarity with the victims of the flood-ravaged state of Kerala.
Liverpool’s official fan club of the state, KeralaReds, have sought help from their fans for the sufferers of the natural calamity that has wreaked havoc all across the state.
“Dear Reds, Kerala is going through one of the biggest natural disasters in its history. We are doing our best to help the people in need. It would be great if you all can spread the message and donate,” read a tweet by KeralaReds.

In response, LFC India-Liverpool Football Club’s Indian wing sent out a tweet supporting the cause and asked their fans to help the victims of the disaster, in whichever way they could.
“Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the floods in Kerala. Those willing to help in any way can reach out to our official supporters club in the state – @KeralaReds YNWA [You Will Never Walk Alone],” LFC India’s tweet read.
Liverpool FC CEO Peter Moore replied to the tweet by KeralaReds saying that their international supporters liaison team would extend their hand of support.
“Dear @KeralaReds Our international supporters liaison team will be in contact to see what we can do to help. Thank you for reaching out, and please know that all of us here @LFC are thinking about you in this time of extreme difficulty #YNWA,” Moore tweeted.
