Infosys co-founder Narayan Murthy’s wife and philanthropist Sudha Murthy’s video of helping Infosys staff in packing relief material for victims of Kerala floods has gone viral.
The video shows her supervising the packing process besides packing material herself. She opens a carton and passes relief material to the people sitting on the other side of the room.
BJP leader and Union Minister DV Sadananda Gowda, among many, had shared the video on his Twitter handle and called her ‘Amma’ (mother) for her unassuming work.
Incessant rains had gripped Kerala resulting in disaster of a century, it claimed 12 lives in Kodagu itself. More than 350 people have died while more than a million have been evacuated to over 4,000 relief camps. Tens of thousands remain stranded.
