Kerala Floods: Cricketers urge fans to support relief cause
The state of Kerala, a part of southern India has over the last couple of weeks witnessed incessant rainfall which has destroyed major parts of the state, while also damaging many homes and buildings. The death toll has also increased to over 350 on Monday and although the rain has receded in some areas, the number of lives lost is set to increase further.
With God’s own country, subject to one of the worst ever destruction by flood, many celebrities over the last couple of days along with voluntary donators, have supported the relief cause by donating money and sending whatever help was possible from them.
Many sportsmen, across different categories of the game, have also contributed to the cause and some of them took an additional responsibility by urging fans and other people to donate and show their support for the humanitarian cause.

Everyone in Kerala, please be safe and stay indoors as much as you can. Hope the situation recovers soon. Also, thanking the Indian army and NDRF for their incredible support in this critical condition. Stay strong and stay safe.

Prayers are always good but in times of dire need and suffering we all can do more. Right now the victims and families of the #KeralaFloods need our help. Let’s show them that we #StandWithKerala. Even a small contribution to Kerala’s #CMDRF would go a long way.@CMOKerala pic.twitter.com/UFQCVL3G3x
