After a one-day tour in Kerala on Tuesday, Bharatiya Janata Party president Amit Shah will be in Uttar Pradesh for his two-day tour to motivate his “Lok Sabha Toli” and take a stock of preparations, based on which final strategy of the party’s 2019 polls electoral strategy is expected to be prepared.
As per the information received from party sources, Shah will sit for a meeting with the ‘vistarak’ team of the party members of Varanasi, Gorakhpur and Awadh region at 12 noon in Mirzapur. It is most likely expected that discussion on the bypoll result of Gorakhpur Lok Sabha seat would be discussed, from where Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath used to contest.

Soon after meeting the core team, Shah will sit for another meeting with his ‘Lok Sabha Toli’ – grassroot members and senior party members from the states and take a stock of the preparations – in Mirzapur only, but at 2 pm. In the meeting, like in previous states’ – West Bengal, Odisha and Kerala, Shah will take a stock of the poll preparations with his ‘Toli’ and and give them guidelines for the next move.
Later in the day, Shah will address party’s social media team in Varanasi where it is expected that he would tell them to co-ordinate and maintain good relations with opinion-makers, social media activists and intellectuals in their respective constituencies. Also, social media strengthening of the party’s base is on the cards.

Known for his meticulous planning before polls, Shah had made assurance that he would finish his first round-up of parliamentary constituencies by July 22. As the party does not want to lose their focus from 2019 general elections, the president has himself taken the responsibility to monitor and prepare his ‘Lok Sabha Toli’. Shah will be in Agra tomorrow.
