COVID-19 Pandemic had brought the world to a halt. Due to the rising cases, the government had to enforce a nationwide lockdown. The worst-hit was the entertainment industry as film releases as well as production work came to a complete halt. Now, with the nation moving into the unlock phase, the government recently announced that theatres could be reopened. This comes as a big boost to the entertainment industry.
Here we have some good news for theatres lovers. Six top Bollywood films are all set to re-release in theatres from Friday. The good news was shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Twitter.
Taran Adarsh wrote: “As cinemas ready to reopen their doors from this week onwards, the list of Hindi films scheduled for re-release this week is officially announced… Tanhaji, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Malang, Kedarnath, and Thappad. More films will be scheduled in coming days.”

The films that are set to release are late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s 2018 film ‘Kedarnath’, Ajay Devgn’s ‘Tanhaji’, ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, and Taapsee Pannu’s ‘Thappad’. Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani starrer ‘Malang’ and the 2019 hit ‘War’, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. All these hit flicks are set to release in theatres close to your homes. More films are expected to be added to the list.
