Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan will soon be back as the host of Kaun Banega Crorepati 12. Yes, you read that right! Taking to social media, Amitabh Bachchan has announced that the registration process of 12th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati to begin from May 9, 2020.
Those who wish to be a part of Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 must know that the registration date for the upcoming season is out. The announcement of KBC 12 comes as a relief amidst the Coronavirus infused lockdown situation throughout the country.
Retweeting a short video tweeted by Sony TV, Mr Bachchan announced the registration date of KBC 12. He wrote, “Ji.. its coming back to you again soon.”
In the video, Amitabh Bachchan can be heard saying, “Har cheez ko break lag sakta. Nukkad ki chai ko, chai pe hone wali hello hi ko. Sadko ke sath yaari ko, triple seat sawari ko, har cheez ko break lag sakta hai. Office wali chakri ko, aadhi raat ki tafri ko, shopping mall ke pyaar ko, chaurahe ke yaar ko, har cheez ko break lag sakta hai. Subah ke school ko, raste ki dhool ko, jeewan ki race ko, conference room ki maze ko, ghadi ki tiktik ko, shantabai ki jhik-jhik ko, train ki hahakar ko, dhadkan ki raftaar ko. Har cheez ko break lag sakta hai.”
Due to the ongoing lockdown across the country, the registration promo of KBC 12 was reportedly shot in Amitbabh’s house.
Nitesh Tiwari — who remotely directed the promo of KBC 12 — said, “Each year, when we start deliberating about KBC, we go through various insights which may trigger an impactful narrative. This time, however, the very environment that we are in, sets the context of the film.”
Speaking about the challenges while shooting the promo in nationwide lockdown, he said, “First, I shot a scratch film with myself and shared it with Mr Bachchan, for him to get an idea about my vision. After which, Mr Bachchan shot the entire film at his own home, all by himself.”
Kaun Banega Crorepati is arguably one of the most loved and watched Indian TV shows. The Mulk actor has been hosting the show since its inception, except one time when Shah Rukh Khan donned the cap of the host for one season.
