After Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif tests positive for COVID-19

Katrina Kaif becomes the latest Bollywood celebrity to contract Coronavirus. The ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ actress took to her Instagram story and informed her fans that she has tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. In her story, she stated that she has isolated herself and is quarantining herself at home.

In her story, the ‘Bharat’ actress wrote: “I have tested positive for Covid19. Have immediately isolated myself and will be under home quarantine. I’m following all safety protocols under the advice of my doctors. Requesting everyone who came in contact with me to get tested immediately too. Grateful for all your love & support. Please stay safe and take care.”

Katrina Kaif’s ‘Sooryavanshi’ co-star Akshay Kumar has also tested positive for Coronavirus and is currently hospitalized in Mumbai.

On a professional note, the actress is currently awaiting the release of her Rohit Shetty film, ‘Sooryavanshi.’ Apart from the duo, the film also features Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh in special appearances reprising their roles as ‘Singham’ and ‘Simmba’ respectively. Earlier, the film was scheduled to release on April 30 in the theatres, however, due to the current COVID-19 situation, the film has been postponed yet again.

Next, Katrina also has ‘Phone Bhoot’ alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter.
