Katie Holmes Shares Adorable Holiday Photo With Daughter Suri Cruise

Katie Holmes gave her Instagram followers a rare glimpse into her famously private life, sharing a picture with her daughter Suri Cruise. The two look happy in the selfie which was posted just days after Christmas. While the official picture has now been deleted as it was shared via an Instagram story, the picture has been shared by an unofficial fan account.

Fans of the Dawson’s Creek actress were delighted to see this rare mother-daughter moment, captured in black-and-white. Katie Holmes has been sharing festive photos in the spirit of Christmas from her social media account.

She recently talked to ELLE magazine, sharing that she was happy to experience motherhood in her 20s.

“I was happy to become a mom in my 20s,” Katie Holmes said. “It’s been nice that our ages fit… how do I put this? Every age that my child has been and my age at that time has been a good match. We kind of grew up together.”

The actress has previously said on the TODAY Show that she is like any other mother who is trying to raise a teenage daughter and raise her right.

“I do a lot to put perspective on life,” Holmes said. “We help out the homeless. We do small acts of kindness. Again, it’s a daily thing. I don’t over-gift. I don’t inundate my child with a lot of things. We’re trying to raise good humans and some days we’re better at it than others. You don’t always get treats.”
