Kartik Aaryan has been hitting headlines for the last few weeks ever since there has been a huge wave of controversy regarding his exit from Dostana 2. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions had announced that the project would be recast, it also starred Janvhi Kapoor and Lakshya Lalwani.
Now, according to a report in Pinkvilla, Kartik has teamed up with Sajid Nadiadwala and Namah Pictures for an epic love story. Sajid and the director, Sameer Vidhwans have been discussing a potential collaboration for quite some time now and have now found a perfect script.
“It’s an epic love story featuring Kartik in space that’s not explored before. The National Award-winning director, Sameer Vidhwan’s is planning to paint a fresh picture in the romantic genre and all the stakeholders are excited to take this film on the floors,” revealed a source close to the development adding further that the film is currently in the pre-production stage,” said the report.
The yet-untitled film will mark Sameer’s debut in Bollywood. However, an official announcement will be made after the Coronavirus situation gets better. Currently, the team is silently working on the prep work of the film, they don’t want to make things official as of now. The Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor is excited about his collaboration with producer Sajid Nadiadwala as this will mark their first collaboration together. The female lead is yet to be locked.
