South superstar Suriya who was undergoing treatment after testing coronavirus positive is back home. The good news was shared by his actor brother Karthi on social media. Karthi giving an update on his brother’s health also thanked Suriya’s fans for their continued good wishes. He added that his brother would be in-home quarantine for a few days.

“Anna is back home and all safe! Will be in-home quarantine for a few days. Can”t thank you all enough for the prayers and best wishes,” he wrote on Twitter.
Suriya too shared the news of his Covid-19 diagnosis on Twitter. He wrote in Tamil, “I am undergoing treatment for Covid-19 and am better now. Let us all realize that life hasn’t returned to normalcy yet. We also cannot be filled with fear and let life come to a standstill. We still need to be careful and safe. Lots of love and gratitude to the dedicated doctors and medical staff standing by my side“.
On the work front, Suriya was last seen in Soorarai Pottru alongside Aparna Balamurali. The Sudha Kongara directorial was based on the life of GR Gopinath, the man who established India’s first low-cost airline Air Deccan. He will next be seen in a movie directed by Pandiraj for Sun Pictures. The South star also has Vaadivasal in his kitty.
